Est.1971, the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers, (IPAV),is a representative professional body for qualified, licensed auctioneers, valuers and estate agents in Ireland (currently representing over 800 Members). A key objective of the IPAV is to advance and promote the professional standards of Auctioneers, Valuers, Estate Agents, Property Managing Agents, Letting Agents and Property Professionals in Ireland. Working closely with numerous governmental bodies, stakeholders and interested parties, the IPAV actively contributes on matters regarding legislation and regulation. It also provides a comprehensive system of professional education to members.

The Private Residential Tenancies Board, (PRTB), was established in 2004 as an agency of Government with statutory powers. The central role of the PRTB is to support the rental housing market and to resolve cheaply and speedily disputes between landlords and tenants, affording protection to both parties without having to resort to the Courts. As a statutory body, the PRTB has been responsible for the operation of a national registration system for all private residential tenancies and for providing a more timely and cost effective dispute resolution service, as well as disseminating information, carrying out research and offering policy advice regarding the rental housing sector.

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, (SEAI), formerly the Irish Energy Centre was set up by the government in 2002 as Ireland’s national energy authority. The SEAI plays a leading role in transforming Ireland into a society based on sustainable energy structures, technologies and practices. To fulfil this mission, SEAI aims to provide well-timed and informed advice to Government, and deliver a range of programmes efficiently and effectively, while engaging and motivating a wide range of stakeholders and showing continuing flexibility and innovation in all activities.
